Neelam Forgings was founded in 1975 by Mr. Banta Singh and sons, who brought with them over two decades of experience in the steel industry. Mr. Banta Singh is an institution in himself. Under their able guidance, the company is scaling new heights. According to him, it is an unending race—he says, "He is like a marathon runner, who never loses sight of his ultimate goal." With his consistent efforts and by bringing in the latest technology coupled with innovation, Neelam Forgings has become a name to reckon with.

Starting with a Drawing of Pipes factory about three and a half decades ago, Neelam Forgings has expanded into new fields and excelled in Heavy & Small Rough Forgings and Auto Engine Parts. Today, it has earned an unmatched reputation at both national and international levels. The company is always in touch with tomorrow and is rapidly moving toward its goal to be a model enterprise guiding others along the same path.

The globalization of virtually every major industry and the opening up of the Indian economy have dramatically altered the industrial scenario and the rules of competition. Having successfully carved out a niche for itself on the Indian industrial horizon, Neelam Forgings, in 1998, decided to modernize its existing manufacturing units and add a new Forging Unit with the latest Plant & Machinery.

The responsibility for accomplishing this ambitious task was assigned to Mr. Santokh Singh and Mr. Harpreet Singh, an intelligent and hardworking individual, supported by a team of technocrats and professionals with years of extensive experience in their respective fields. The task was successfully completed in 2000, and the new unit began producing forged components for automobile applications, tractors & farm equipment, carbon steel flanges, scaffolding & formwork accessories, truck/bus body parts, fasteners, and other light engineering items. It has already entered the export market, supplying products across India and to countries such as England and Germany.

The unit is equipped with a Drop Hammer, an Integrated Tool Room, a well-furnished laboratory, a Machine Shop with conventional and VMC machines, and a Standard Room with the latest apparatus to ensure conformity of standards from incoming raw materials to outgoing finished products. To ensure the right structural strength and physical properties, the unit includes both Induction and Thermal Heat Treatment Furnaces.
